Early life

   Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ was born in Adana, Turkey. He has four siblings. Kıvanç was sent to Yenice Çağ Private High School by his family where he excelled in basketball. Due to his father's illness, Kıvanç and his family moved to Istanbul so his father could get the proper treatment. In Istanbul, he joined Fenerbahçe Ülker sports club as an amateur basketball player. Tatlıtuğ is of Bosnian ancestry.
